Castle town is ruled by Zagros Ahziree, the High priest of the Church of Ordanum. Castle town itself is orginized into 3 levels, the lowest being the "town" part. The first level is known as the Living Ring.
Almost everyone in Castle town lives on the lower level. Also on this level are taverns, inns and merchants. The second level is the known as the Holy Circle, a place where 4 temples look over each of the four gates into Castle town. In the North is Fortes, south Hemdarl, east Frengar and west Dagnor. In the north east of the Holy circle are the public prisons, here some prisoners are held in public as an example. The rest of the prisoners are kept in dungeons below the temple of Hemdarl and Dagnor, depending on who claims the outlaw. The temple of Fortes is where prisoners go to get judged and the temple of Frengar normally sends criminals to be detained in the temple of Dagnor. In the NW of this area is a large estate built for the current Inquisitor. The inquisitor is an individual who seeks out those touched by the divine gift and others who resort to magic. He is often away from Castle town but when he is present the city takes on a different mood; The current inquisitor is Yakesh. In the SW an area has been made for outdoor worship, where a Priest of any faith in Castle Town can go to hold his sermons. In the South East public hangings are performed, led by a Priest of Hemdarl.
In the center of Castle town is a Temple of Ordanum and is the highest point in Castle Town. Inside of the Temple lives Zagros Ahziree as well as the Head Priests of each of the four other churches.
Once a year during the Dragon month the city holds the Dragon Merchant Festival
