Cast a fire spell onboard Goldslaver's ship towards the deck at hungry hoggles, cast again at the ship when the ship was being beseiged by pirates. Second spell did not eliminate enemy threat: goal was apparently to light rope on fire, rope did not burn away: cut by the duelist: duelist solved problem, Kareacot created a potential liability.
Warning: Kareacot may have special access to Goldslaver: allowed into the private cabin when other guards were kept out... Will need to save his life to end his grudge. Or get a nevarian 'corpse' for him to dissect.
