Questions for DM:
Gimlak: Does Gimlak know anything about the metal item we are carrying? No
Does he know any spells that can turn stone to flesh? Does he know anyone who might? He has heard of creatures can turn flesh to stone but not the other way around.
Does he speak the language of earth elementals? Do all stones understand deep gnomish? He speaks Terran, Deep Gnome, Common and is somehow able to communicate directly with rocks in any of his languages. Also Gimlack also sems capable of understand any language of any creature he is touching.
Has he heard anything regarding the whereabouts of Joliet Elusha? No
What is Gimlak's story? As you have seen so far, awaken after hundreds of years in an a mysteirously arrisen legendary dwarven city by a group of adventurers. He use to be a servant gnome for the dwarves of the First city in a different time.
Earth Elemental: What is his story? Can he teach me Terran? Friend and ally of Gimlak, very friendly but child like in nature and very peacful. If you were to tempt him to come out somehow, maybe with a treat, he may be inclined to come to you and hang out.
WrrWrrr: Does he speak ignan as well as Draconic? What is his story? He speaks Ignan and Draconic as far as you can tell, or he can understand draconic. You guys found him in a tower, to know more you may need to figure out a way to communicate.
Can a counterspeller scribe a scroll of a spell one counters? Is there a feat for this? You can not learn anything from countering an enemy spell.
Can one cleave on horseback? If not basically, what are the feats required to do this? The cleave feat states that the cleaving character cannot take a five foot step between cleaves, but if the surface on which the cleaver is acting is not stationary (say like horseback), isn't the cleaver themselves still stationary? I had thought of using this to make a cleave attack in a line, following the motion of the horse, rather than in a still circle. You can cleave from horseback, if you wish to cleave while the horse is moving you will require ride by attack.
Does casting on horseback require mounted combat? mounted archery? (you mentioned this earlier... i think it was Mounted Archery) If the horse is stationary you do not need anything. If it moves at normal speed you get a -5, double -10, running -20 to cast if you have mounted casting(new feat) you get a -2, -4 , -8 respectively.
Does Still Spell aid with spells cast while running (say like levitate?) Is combat casting more appropriate a feat for this? If not, are there any feats that allow casting while moving (though I guess this could be done by quickening the spell then moving, but this still wouldn't work for levitate mechanics) You can not cast while moving.
Are there any feats that decrease the time it takes to write spells? I know you mentioned that transcribe can work for cached spells, are there any spells that can help reduce spellwriting time? There are no feats to reduce the time it takes to write a spell.
