Lowlands: Southern area of the continent, dominated by humans. Very good farm land with lush vegetation and forests but very little mineral resources. All major cities are on the coasts, fishing is a major source of food for the human population. The King of human society is chosen by popular vote among the noble houses. When the majority of nobles support a given house the leader of that house is King. A recognized King can not be "unrecognized" easily so complicated politics normally follows.
