Midlands: The midlands are the most vast area of land on the continent. Inhabited primarily by the Beards and humans that wish to live outside the Lowland Alliance. The further north one travels in the midlands the less suitable it becomes for farming. The land becomes more mountainous and rich in mineral resources. The Beards are spread throughout the Midlands and are even trying to make a push into the Lowlands, though they currently have trade agreements with the Lowland Alliance.
